Amazon Kindle Replacement Power Adapter (fits 2nd Generation Kindle and Kindle DX)
Replace or supplement your Amazon Kindle (2nd Generation) and Kindle DX power adapter with a spare. This adapter is the same as the one that ships in the box with your Kindle (2nd Generation) and Kindle DX. Simply plug the adapter into a wall outlet and connect to your Kindle’s micro USB port for recharging. Its universal design means that it works around the world, with the help of a physical country adapter plug (sold separately). The power adapter’s detachable USB cable can be used to connect your Kindle to a computer or USB hub for either powering your Kindle through the computer or for transferring MP3 or Audible files onto your Kindle.

Exactly the same!
After the dog chewed my original cord for my Kindle I order two replacements. Both came quickly and exactly the same as the one I originally owned. Both work great!

Amazon Kindle replacement adaptor (+plug)
I had to replace the original adaptor and plug (they come as a 2 part set only) after the (tiny) plug part was lost in a suitcase on a trip.

works like it should – and very portable
Very small, makes it easy to pack in a laptop bag. Cable is plenty long enough. No complaints!

Use a second one for travel
I find the adapter to be much better than the one with the previous Kindle 1st, more friendly to use, more compact, more easy to carry.

Kindle power cord works great.
I accidentally left the end of the power cord plugged in at a hotel when I pulled it out of the wall.

Bad News
My wife and I bought two of these. They are advertised to work on 220V European current but they do not.

Right On Design
The design of this cord is right on. The integrated AC/DC design makes this item very compact, eliminating the need for separate power cords, modules, or invertors.

Kindle power
Having an extra power cord extends the range of use of our Kindle. This way I do not have to carry the power cord with me, but can leave one at home and one at the office.
